Scanning with the Structure Sensor, Part2

To scan with the Structure Sensor is a great experience!  To walk in my virtual apartment is even a greater experience!
You can find a quick tutorial how to set-up the Structure Sensor and import your scans in Unity 3d here.
You can download the .exe here, walk in the room like a cat or lay on the bed and simply watch the video!

Here is a scan from the Structure Sensor viewed in the Rift. The mesh of the room is 60000 faces (good size to import in Unity). I added a movie texture, this is not a poster!

HIGHWAY101

I have a deep background in science, art and technology. I specialize in the areas of philosophy of mind, gamification, human computer interaction and radical empiricism. I am primarily interested in the transdisciplinary intersections among cognitive science, computer science, philosophy of communication and spirituality. After two years researching on intertextualities within the transhuman discourse at the era of the Psychedelic Renaissance, and one year developing serious games dedicated to VR headsets such as the Oculus Rift, I am currently initiating HIGHWAY101, Experiential Technology Community. My interviews and reviews are regularly published on VRrelated.com and InifinityLeap.com under the name Alecz Boulder.
